If you’re building a survey, poll, or contact form into your website, you have two options – Typeform vs. Jotform. You should always choose the one that will be the best for your audience and site. I’m an avid user of both forms, so I want to share the comparisons between Typeform and Jotform.
Typeform Overview
Typeform is a SaaS platform that allows users to create forms, surveys, and questionnaires that can be integrated with their websites or other online tools or shared independently as links to collect responses from the target audience. The questions are presented to the audience one at a time with the provision to integrate images, GIFs, and videos into the questionnaire. Typeform allows for logical sequencing of questions based on the response provided by the audience. The company was founded in 2012 by Robert Munoz and David Okuniev. The company is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. Typeform has over 125,000 paying customers as of today.
Typeform Features
Typeform is not like a traditional form or questionnaire. It allows you to ask one question at a time and make collecting information conversational. You can add images, gifs, and videos to your inquiries to make them more vivid and lively. Typeform has an inbuilt bot that asks questions and collects information for you, all in real-time. Typeform integrates logic into its questions by sequencing questions based on the response provided by your audience. Typeform allows you to set up conversion tracking by adding a Facebook pixel id or Google tag manager code snippet. Typeform will enable you to trigger actions like a visit to any website ( like your own website ) or any other appropriate action when your audience clicks on the submit button of your form. Typeform offers several built-in templates to help you create a suitable questionnaire or survey. Typeform provides integration with over a hundred other platforms and applications to enhance your user experience. Typeform boasts clients like The New York Times, Airbnb, Facebook, Financial Times, BBC, and more.

Key Takeaways

Both Typeform and Jotform offer unique features to users. Jotform has been around for much longer than Typeform and is much more widely used in terms of the number of users. When choosing between the two options, you should compare the features offered by both companies for the price you are willing to pay. One unique feature about Typeform that I find attractive is that it presents its questions in a conversational style, one question at a time. I think this feature can make a tremendous difference while engaging your audience. If you ask my opinion, I will opt for Typeform.
